We are very fortunate in West Buckland to have a large playing field, adjacent to the Village Hall, which makes it ideal for combined events and functions. The field is owned and managed by the Parish Council. If you have a booking for an event at the Village Hall you need permission from the Parish Council to use the field. All persons use the facility at their own risk.

This is your facility, please help the Parish Council to keep this site in a good condition
Dog walkers are asked to please pick up after their dog. There is a dog bin close to the field entrance.
The site and equipment are inspected on a regular basis
June 2023 – a new kick wall has been added
The field boasts a hard play area and plenty of grassed area for other sports activities
There is a separate self-contained play area which has swings, a roundabout, slide and other various small play items, finished off with a bright multi-coloured 6-seater table with built-in seating for those summer picnics, complete with wheelchair/pushchair provision
